Bergamot Essential Oil : Benefits
You may recognise the familiar aroma of bergamot from Earl Grey tea. The sweet and comforting smell can help alleviate depression by balancing mood and easing anxiety. We liked to add a few drops to our organic carrier oil , apply to the soles of the feet and sit back and relax.
Skin Tonic for all Skin Types
Useful for balancing combination and oily skin and improving skin tone. Bergamot oil has soothing properties that help clam dry, itchy skin. The natural healing powers of bergamot essential oil can also help heal scars over time.
Bergamot essential oil has natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties that help fight against the cold sore virus and pimples. For a cold sore remedy, try dabbing diluted Bergamot essential oil on the affected area up to 5 times a day.
The cooling powers of Bergamot essential oil can help to bring down fevers. Try adding 2-3 drops to a cold compress then apply directly to the skin.

Massage / on the body
Blend with our organic carrier oil to create a relaxing, soothing oil for the body. For normal skin, use up to 5 drops of Bergamot essential oil per 10ml of carrier oil. See our blending guide for more help with dilution.
Diffuser / home fragrance
One of the best ways to reap the benefits of bergamot essential oil is to inhale it. Add 3-8 drops of essential oil to your diffuser and enjoy the beautiful aroma.
Add 3-5 drops of Bergamot essential oil to a warm bath. Immerse and allow at least 10 minutes for the aroma to take effect on body and mind.
